Cased By Cami

Cased by Cami is a woman-run small business operating out of New York City. With unique and stylized cases, Cased by Cami conveys the creative visions of CEO and lead designer, Cami Araque. Cami Araque is an NYC-based artist currently studying illustration at Parsons School of Design.

 

She discovered her passion for mixed media collage-esque pieces while studying as an art major at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts high school, and has continued to charm viewers with her playful and imaginative creations. When designing a new case, Cami takes much of her inspiration from her dreams, her friends, and the world around her.

 

Her design process involves a vast array of media, both digital and physical. With the use of pen, pencil, and textured paper, she creates an interesting juxtaposition when completing a case in the digital space using programs such as Procreate, Nomad Sculpt, and Goodnotes. Cami wants each Cased by Cami customer to feel that they are not just buying a phone case, but a functional piece of art.
